SUSTAINABILITY
Handicraft in Bangladesh, from local natural materials. CRAFTING CORNER started in 2023 after learning the positive impact of green products for the environment, and that is why our motto is “Stay with sustainable Nature”.

CSR
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. By practicing corporate social responsibility, also called corporate citizenship, companies can be conscious of the kind of impact they are having on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and environmental.
Engaging in CSR means that, in the ordinary course of business, a company is operating in ways that enhance society and the environment.
Crafting Corner recognizes its role in creating positive impacts on society and the environment. With the unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and creativity, the workshop contributes through the products it makes. CRAFTING CORNER works with the objective of creating employment opportunity for the jobless people (especially female) in Bangladesh using the local natural materials. There are around 1000 people who have been working with CRAFTING CORNER (directly & indirectly).
OUR PRACTICE
The collections are made from jute, seagrass, rattan, kans grass and mango wood. These are the local natural materials behind the environment friendly products, which is why the motto is “Stay with sustainable Nature”.
We will exercise decentralization and strengthen training activities to transform the unskilled manpower to the skilled artisans. The necessary frame work is in process and the result is expected under intensive training and supervision.

SDG
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
The 17 SDGs are integrated — they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability. Four of those goals sit close to the work already described in the company profile.
The green squares are the four goals this workshop already sits beside. The rest complete the set of seventeen.
